Halo 4 may have been put under one of the most strenuous quality assurance tests that any major title to date has received, but it is no less bug-free.
While none of these bugs threaten the stability of the game, much less impact anyone’s experience with it, they nonetheless exist to serve as proof that no game can ever be fully polished and without glitches.
It’s interesting to note that the game is no less, and no more buggy than any of the previous Halo titles—though fans of the series can certainly expect 343 Industries to deal with them a lot more promptly, as the studio intends to prove its worth with the Halo franchise. They’ve a huge shoes to fill with the departure of Bungie.
Halo 4 is now out in stores and available exclusively on the Xbox 360. If you’re reading this, you probably own a copy of the game.

Halo 4 Impact Map Glitch
There’s a glitch in the map Impact allows you to glitch inside a rock and shoot at people from within. It’s a glitch that 343 will no doubt want to fix, especially since you’ll be able to hide in it while in Oddball or Infection.
Halo 4 Complex Map Glitch
Not quite as serious as the previous glitch, this one allows you to walk through Complex if you spawn a teleporter behind a wall while in Forge mode.
Halo 4 Requiem Map Glitch
Like many other glitches on this list, this map glitch allows you to go out of bounds on the map Requiem. Fortunately, it’s a single-player mission and not one of the multiplayer ones.
Halo 4 Promethean Stuck in Wall Glitch
Prometheans can sometimes get glitched when they spawn, which sticks them in a wall. Thankfully, it doesn’t happen all that often.
Halo 4 Abandon Map Glitch
This glitch occurs on the map Abandon, which may prove useful in Infection mode—at least until they fix it.
Halo 4 Unlimited Turret Glitch
This glitch allows you to spawn unlimited turrets. At least until the game crashes.
Halo 4 No Weapon Glitch
This glitch causes you to drop the weapon you have equipped and run around without any weapons in your hand. To replicate the glitch, simply pick up a hologram and a turret and drop the turret and deploy the hologram at the same time.
Halo 4 Stand Up While Riding in Vehicles Glitch
To replicate this glitch, simply do the “no weapon glitch” in the previous slide and get into a vehicle. The game doesn’t appear to have any animations prepared for this, causing your Spartan to behave as if he or she is standing while in a vehicle.
Halo 4 Erosion Map Glitch
Like the first two slides, this glitch allows you to ascend to one of the highest spots on the map, where you’ll have an overview of the entire map to fire upon your enemies. Needless to say, this one’s getting fixed.
Halo 4 Invisible Banshee Glitch
This glitch occurs when you fly a Banshee outside of the bounds of a map. Once you reach a certain distance, the Banshee will no longer be rendered by the game.
