I believe I can say it with no apprehension whatsoever: Skyrim is the best looking game this year, if not the best looking game of all time—not simply due to its graphical fidelity, but because of its architecture and its lovingly crafted environments, which were hand-made rather than procedurally generated.
To show off the game's purely awesome beauty, a gamer and Redditor going by the name "Revelation_Space" (a great series of books by Alastair Reynolds, by the way) has taken the time to create these panoramic screenshots of some of the Skyrim's most breathtaking environments, which depict the world of Skyrim for all it has to offer. The result is absolutely stunning.
