Long before digital effects appeared, animatronics was making cinematic history, we've seen some pretty epic ones in theme parks or movies back in the days and this one is no different. The awesome folks at PeteMander GFX have put together this one of a kind Elite Suit which looks absolutely amazing and believable. This could possibly well be "The Ultimate Cosplay Suit" for fans of the Halo series.

PsyOp89, neither Eric Lee nor Trace are saying war isn't horrific these days - I dont' think anyone has. In fact, they are both telling other people not to insult people who are currently at war. Way to make an asshole of yourself
@Eric Lee
@Trace
so im sitting here stumbling from FOB Freedom and within the first 5 minutes of chill time ive had in the last 3 1/2 months of (yep... you guessed it) ACTUAL war, I have to see you pussies having the gall to say that war isnt horrific anymore... in the last month alone, I have lost 2 of my closest friends, seen more death than the average virgin gamer can even dream of and my ACTUAL K/D ratio is somewhere around 10:0... so dont try and tell me war isnt horrific today... these crazy assholes over here are strapping bombs to 10 yr old kids for God's sake!!!! so go finger your own asshole and im gonna go get some R&R cuz when my 48 hr pass is over, im going back out on patrol...
you both sicken me but im gonna keep fighting for your freedom to bitch and moan regardless...
you are welcome, bitches
If you go to Youtube and go to petemander1 channel you can watch the clip where it shows them making it. At the end it shows him walking with the legs on. Please do your research before posting comments like that because when you Assume you make an Ass out of yourself. Ass.
For those wondering; there's no way you could move in that, at least not efficiently or with any sense of stability. For a structure that large I'd imagine a lot of the framework is made of wood and/or metal wireframe. That being the case, it's HUGE, and even if it was made out of only the lightest-weight resins available, it would still weigh an ungodly amount. Also, look at the way an elite's legs joint at the "knees". It's the inverse of a human knee joint, more like that of a cat/dog/other type of quadruped. you wouldn't be able to work the knee joints at all because your feet would have to rest on a platform at the tops of the knees. This is doubly apparent when you look at the height of the guy in the first pic and compare to his standing height in the last pic. If it could move, it would be an absolute NIGHTMARE trying to walk.
Admittedly, though, it would be so freaking awesome if you could move around in that thing. Add a custom made fibreglas energy sword and you're set to go menace any of numerous geek conventions!
Wow, Simply amazing work! The detail is spectacular! If I saw you walking down the street, I may just be compiled to shoot you with my plasma rifle. (To Jerkson and 1a1, posting comments related to stumbles can be down via stumbleupon. This thread has nothing to do with that toolbar. Jerkson, with talent like these gentlemen, any woman of any substance would be honored to be penetrated by them.)
ditto jerkson
Thumbs down. When I stumble games, I want games, not pics of virgins in costumes.
omg that's so cooool
@ Eric Lee
You have no Idea how much I agree with you.
Marine '10- War, as we used to know it, was horrible. I agree with you on that. But even mentioning that we shouldn't mock games imitating war? Sure, it is not very polite taking into account the fact that they spend a whole ton of time on it. But you also gotta take into account that you aren't fighting a war anymore- you are playing games. Remember- there are still people fighting a war. Don't mock them with your words.
I've seen this one before, it's a shoop/.
