In de Blob 2: The Underground for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii, Comrade Black is back and so is his war on color. Disguised as Papa Blanc, Comrade Black rigs the city's election in order to win and take control of Prisma City with his brainwashing new cult. That is, until de Blob bounces back in full color-spreading force with his revolution to restore color and life back to the city and its residents.

There are also multiplayer modes that add some value to the game. The entire single-player campaign can be played cooperatively. The second player takes control of a helper character that assists Blob in completing levels. The Blob Party mode is also cooperative and features much of the same type of content found in the single player campaign. The only real difference is the time restrictions are tighter

That's de Blob 2. It's just a charming and fairly straightforward platformer that wears its all-ages appeal on its kaleidoscopic sleeve. Everything is bubbly and bright and freewheeling – and the gameplay is largely very good. It's also a sometimes frustratingly overprotective experience that points towards its youth appeal – and that's either a great thing if you're a casual player or a constant pebble in your shoe. Still, Blob and his buddies will get under your skin - and if you're a platformer fan, jam this one on your wish list.

de Blob 2 is much like a giant coloring book and you play as a Kirby like blob that must bring life back to a colorless world because of the evil INKT Corporation.
