DmC New York Comic-Con Trailer Continues the Pain

October 15, 2012 by Alex Co

Capcom has released DmC’s New York Comic-Con trailer and it’s just what you expected.

Capcom has released a new trailer for its upcoming Devil May Cry reboot DmC at this year's New York Comic-Con. While it might not show a lot of new footage, it does manage to give players a dose of what the reboot is all about.

Sadly, that consists of a lot of heavy metal music. It might be appropriate seeing Dante's new look and all, but it just makes watching the trailer a lot more unbearable than it needs to be — at least for me.

Not sure if it's just me, but I think the entire trailer we see here shows absolutely nothing new. It seems to be bits of different clips put together to make this "new" one. Dante's still shown with his familiar "flair," and there's a few seconds' worth of combat, but for the most part, we've seen all these before.

Can DmC fare better critically compared to Resident Evil 6? I'm guessing Capcom hopes it does when it ships in January, 2013 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
