Assassin's Creed 3 Multiplayer Trailer Showcases Competitive and Co-Op Modes
A newly released trailer for Assassin's Creed 3 provides an in-depth look into the game's multiplayer modes.
Ubisoft has put together a new Assassin’s Creed 3 trailer to showcase the game’s multiplayer features.
The trailer provides an in-depth look into the unique locales, characters, abilities, perks, and modes — which range from classic approaches like Deathmatch to newly implemented co-op and team-based modes like Wolf Pack and Domination. The multiplayer aspects of Assassin’s Creed 3 are expected to be far more compelling than any of the previous titles in the series.
Like the single player campaign, the multiplayer modes are set against the backdrop of the American Revolution in the late 18th century, with players taking on the roles of the cohorts and enemies of Connor, the master assassin, in a simulation run by the Templars at Abstergo Industries.
In the single player campaign, players become an Assassin in the war for liberty against ruthless tyranny in the most stylized and fluid combat experiences in the franchise to date. The entire game spans the Revolutionary War, taking gamers from the frontier to bustling colonial towns and the intense, chaotic battlefields where George Washington’s Continental Army clashed with the imposing British Army.
The game will be out on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 30. It’s also planned for a PC and Wii U release shortly thereafter.
