Coming this spring from Dark Horse Comics is a new tome that will educate and delight Dragon Age fans new and old. Entitled World of Thedas Vol. 1, this encycolopedia of sorts will contain secrets and new information from the developers and act as a comprehensive guide about the game's many regions, monsters, religions, and more. Featuring 224 pages of Dragon Age details and never before seen artwork, it will retail for $39.99 upon its April 3 release. If you pre-order on Amazon now, you can get a third off the price.
Check out a preview of the book's content over at Newsrama. The illustrations are impressive and the layouts and presentation of the material, particularly the timelines, are pleasing to the eye. No doubt this book is being timed to reignite interest in the franchise somewhat, given the upcoming new entry in the series, Dragon Age III: Inquisition, due sometime in late 2013.
