Keita Takahashi’s New Game To Debut At Game Developers Conference

February 28, 2013 by Matt Hawkins

Is it a video game? Is it a physical game? Is it both?

As we get closer to GDC 2013, the list of reasons to swing by San Francisco between March 25-26 keeps getting longer and longer. The latest one is word that Keita Takahashi, creator of Katamari Damacy and Noby Noby Boy, will be debuting a new multiplayer game.

Details are sparse, though that's hardly a shocker. It's going to be the star attraction of the Venus Patrol/Wild Rumpus party, and even though it's close to being sold out, or is already at their point, one can only assume that it's being kept under tight lock and key, to ensure it's the hottest after party of the entire conference.

Though if you check this Venus Patrol post, you'll find an animated gif that offers a sneak peak. Coupled with the art above, it might be some kind of digital and physical game hybrid. Maybe? Possibly.
