The Mouth of Sauron, a character whose presence was stripped from the theatrical release of the third Lord of the Rings, has found his way into the Guardians of Middle Earth as a playable character. This Black Numenorean, also known as the Mesenger of Barad-dur, is the only mortal being who can directly communicate with the Dark Lord Sauron.
He's the latest DLC champion for the MOBA and the commander of the armies of Gorgoroth. Available now on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live, the Mouth of Sauron is a Defender class character with the following abilities:
- Dark Shout: Medium range attack with damage and fear
- Will of Sauron: Roots enemy Guardian at medium range while draining the victim’s health
- Deceitful Ways: Lifesteals and gains temporary invulnerability
- Stream of Lies: Area attack with silence, slow and ability damage
