Destiny? Did you say Destiny? Are we finally going to see some Destiny?
Yes, and it looks amazing. Thank you Sony.
The new first-person shooter from Halo-creator Bungie–partnered with Activision–was showcased at the Sony press conference at E3 today. Fans got to see a gameplay demonstration that revealed the UI, the environments, and some other elements.
Most notable is the "Public Event," which are certain events in the game that are open to other players online, bringing in the MMO element that had been hinted at a few months back.
Sony also announced a long-term, exclusive partnership with Bungie and Activision to make sure the PlayStation 4 grows with the game.
An official release date has still not been revealed, but it will arrive sometime in 2014.
