Along with an October 12th release date, Nintendo revealed that Pokemon X and Y were getting a new Pokemon type as well.
The new Fairy type was revealed. Conformed Pokemon that fall under the fairy type are shown above. You'll also be able to take care of your Pokemon and interact with them with the Pokemon-amie feature.
This new mysterious moth Pokemon was also shown during Nintendo's E3 Nintendo Direct.
