New Xbox Live Trailer Details the Next Generation of Online Games

November 18, 2013 by Josiah Renaudin

Xbox Live will be new and expanded on the Xbox One, and this fresh trailer explains exactly why.

One of the most important features that the Xbox One boasts is its online capabilities, and while we’ve all been able to access Xbox Live for quite some time (for a nominal fee), the expanded functionality of the service that will be found on Xbox One make it a whole new animal. The power of the Cloud and advanced networking power will be on full display with launch titles like Forza 5 and Dead Rising 3, and a new video released by the Xbox Wire details just what you should expect when the console hits this week.

“For me, the AI – Drivatar, this new way of approaching AI using Cloud learning – is incredibly exciting, because it doesn’t just apply to racing games,” said Dan Greenawalt, creative director at Turn 10. “This could apply to first-person shooters, this could apply to squad games. And really, it’s on the cutting edge of big data.”

There are plenty of other interesting voices to hear in the above video. Look to hear more on Xbox One and the overall Xbox One experience in the coming days.
