Warframe has been rated for release on Xbox One by Europe's Pan European Gamer Information (PEGI) agency.
The free-to-play third person shooter was given an 18 age rating, the same as the others versions, due to what PEGI describes as "Extreme violence" in the game.
Warframe was initally announced for PC in early 2012 and entered closed beta that October with the open beta launching in early 2013. The game is available on Steam and has since been released on PS4 – it was a launch title for the console in November.
Digital Extreme's studio director Steve Sinclair has hinted that the game could come to Xbox One saying the PS4 release was only a timed exclusive.
The studio's vice-president of publising Meredith Braun has also commented that, "We would love to see Warframe on Xbox One."
PEGI lists Warframe's Xbox One release date as today, December 31st but it will likely be some point in 2014 before the game is released on the platform.
