Double Fine’s adventure game, Broken Age, has been in development for well over a year since it was funded over Kickstarter. Today, the game’s lead developer Tim Schafer indicated over Twitter that the first portion of the game will be available next Tuesday.
“Haven't shipped a game of my own in 4.5 years, an adventure game in 16, a point-n-click in almost 20,” wrote Schafer. “Next Tuesday is going to be exciting!”
Portions of the game were previously demoed at the VGX Awards where the developer confirmed the involvement of Jack Black and Elijah Wood who voice main characters in the game.
