Red Faction and Darksiders Collections on the Way from Nordic Games

February 13, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Update: Red Faction Collection not targeting Xbox 360, Nordic targeting April to June release.

UPDATE: The Red Faction Collection will not be released on Xbox 360 Nordic Games has told Eurogamer as it did not meet Microsoft's specifications. In addition, the March 14th release date specified by Amazon is retailer speculation; Nordic Games is aiming for release between April and June.

The Red Faction Collection will cost £24.99, £10 less than the Darksiders Collection.

ORIGINAL STORY: Nordic Games plans to release Red Faction and Darksiders compilations next month for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

The Red Faction Collection includes the original game, Red Faction: Guerrilla, Red Faction: Armageddon and Armageddon's Path of War DLC. However, only the PC version which is titled Red Faction Complete comes with Red Faction 2 as well.

The Darksiders Collection will include both games as well as Darksiders 2's DLC and Season Pass content. On PC, its Darksiders Complete.

Both Collections appeared on Nordic Games' website and Amazon UK lists March 14th as the release date for the Darksiders Collection with a price of £34.99. The Red Faction Collection will likely be offered at the same time for the same price.

Nordic Games purchased the Darksiders and Red Faction IPs from bankrupt publisher THQ last year but has yet to announce new titles in either of those franchises.
