How To Fix Failure To Login To Titanfall Beta On Origin

February 14, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

If you haven’t applied for the beta yet, you still have time left to apply.

EA has identified and handled an issue with logins for the Titanfall beta in short order. If you were one of the lucky few to get an invite, but were not able to login, read on for instructions.

HEADS UP: Looking into the PC/Xbox One Code switch. Will keep you updated.

The issue that turned up is that some beta players received invites for Xbox One, when they should have been for PC, particularly, Origin.com. Fortunately, EA was able to identify everyone who was affected by the issues, so if you were one of those affected you may be receiving an email about it soon.

Anyway, this is what you need to do:

1.       Go to EA Help, pick Titanfall and select Contact Us.

2.       Choose PC as Platform.

3.       Choose the Topic Demo/Beta, and then type Eligibility Issue in the subject line.

4.       Click Email Me.

5.       You’ll get another screen after this, choose Eligibility under Demo/Beta issue.

6.       Here, you need to put in the beta code you received, and then submit.

You should get a new code within two hours.

PSA: If you’ve gotten this far and are not actually in the beta, you have about 12 hours left of this writing to apply. You will need an Origin account to play the beta on PC, or an Xbox One. They will accept beta players from around the world, and no preorders are necessary.

Are you holding on to that 360? Your choice. You’ll have to wait for Titanfall’s official release on all three platforms this coming March 11.
