John “Soap” MacTavish may be making a comeback. Fans of the Call of Duty franchise will be all too familiar with the character from the Modern Warfare trilogy, who may be set to return in some form or another in an upcoming DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Pictured above, the character was teased on Infinity Ward’s official Twitter account with the word: “Continue?” and the hashtags #Yes and #CODGhosts, implying that the character would be making an appearance in Ghosts rather than Modern Warfare 4 or some other spinoff title.
We speculate that the character will be showing up as a playable character skin, much as Captain Price and Vladimir Makarov did before him in previous DLC for the game. We expect Infinity Ward to release a proper announcement soon.
