Redditor Django117 has posted six screenshots of Final Fantasy Type-0 running on the emulator PPSSPP which you can see below.
He notes that the game is rendered in 4K but displayed at 1080p which explains the appearance of severe anti-aliasing.
Square Enix recently announced that Type-0 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Project manager Sakura Minamida commented:
"Ever since the original PlayStation Portable release in Japan, you guys have never given up on it, raising your voices in an effort to see this title come to North America and Europe. Well, I’m here to tell you that it’s coming and it’s going to be in HD."
Minamida said the stay tuned for more updates.
While the PS4 and Xbox One versions won't run at 4K, hopefully the game will still look pretty good when it hits those consoles. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD does not yet have a release date.
