We have new information for you regarding Halo 5: Guardians. Once again, these are possible spoilers based on a theory from the ongoing comic.
This week, the Blue Team, namely Linda, Kelly and Fred, seem to appear in the cover for Halo Escalation # 10. So, it seems highly likely that they will all also make appearances in Guardians.
The cover depicts all three along with Master Chief facing away from an explosion, possibly inside the Infinity. We do know that Chief eventually leaves the Infinity soon after Halo 4. It’s worth noting that Linda, Kelly, and Fred are the same people Master Chief grew up and trained with. In essence, these people are Chief’s family, or at least the closest he has to one within the UNSC.
It’s also worth noting that this cover shows Chief’s helmet intact. All this information leads our source to believe this issue may be set earlier in the timeline of events between Halo 4 and 5. Our source also believes all these Spartans were seen earlier in another transmedia product, the anime compilation Halo Legends. Just to clarify, from what we know, John and Kelly do appear in Halo Legends, but not Linda.
