Assassin’s Creed Unity: Facts You Didn’t Know About The Game

July 16, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

Here are some facts you may or may not have known about AC Unity.

Assassin’s Creed fan channel ACVideos on Youtube has posted a list of 20 new confirmed facts about the upcoming game, Assassin’s Creed Unity, that you may or may not have already known about. There’s even some stuff there I personally didn’t know about until I watched the video.

ACVideos did their research by trawling through the numerous interviews Assassin’s Creed Unity’s developers have given about the game since its reveal at E3 2014 earlier this year, where the game was put on display at Ubisoft’s press conference.

Here are some of the more interesting (and less fluffy) confirmed facts ACVideos has managed to compile in his video, which you can see below:

  • You can buy boots, gloves, dress ,belt, hood, and weapons in the game.
  • Arno’s redemption is the main focus of the story. The French Revolution is merely a background to his personal tale.
  • Interior spaces are designed to be accessible without loading, for the first time in the series.
  • Arno can swap weapons quickly without the need to access a pause selection menu.
  • Arno’s skills are pushed to the limit if he goes up against more than three enemies at a time.
  • You can start co-op missions from the taverns, in which you can see who among your friends is online.
  • Unity’s skill tree is based on the three pillars of the franchise: navigation, combat, and stealth.
