Last week, Koei Tecmo pulled back the curtain on the upcoming Fatal Frame game coming exclusively to Wii U. Titled Zero: Nuregarasu no Miko (Zero: The Black Haired Shrine Maiden in English), this sequel takes you on a spirit hunting quest deep into the mountains, where water will play a major role in the adventure. The original trailer was in Japanese, but YouTuber bobrossfreak has provided a subtitled trailer so English speakers can bring themselves up to speed.
The trailer doesn't reveal much we haven't learned already. A short-haired girl name Himino steps into an antique shop run by the game's protagonist — Yuuri Kozukata, as we were told during last week's presentation — and asks her to help find a friend who had gone missing in the Hikamiyama mountain region. The area is infamous for being the site of numerous suicides, setting up a creepy atmosphere for your journey.
No word yet on whether Fatal Frame for Wii U will come to America, but Japan can begin ghost hunting on September 27.
