When Rayman Legends was delayed from its original February release on Wii U in order to be ported to other consoles, Ubisoft Montpellier used the opportunity to add more levels to the game. Even with all the extra content, there were still many ideas that got left on the cutting room floor. One was a proposed NFC figurine initiative, not unlike Skylanders, and another was a way to issue custom challenges to friends.
Then there were the Chateau Dracula levels. According to Unseen 64, there would have been a world that took place in Dracula's enormous home and surrounding area. In the video above, director Michel Ancel showed off early concept art and described gameplay ideas, like hiding in beams of sunlight to avoid vampire bats.
Ancel said that Chateau Dracula might appear in the game some day, but as of last month, Ubisoft has no plans for Rayman Legends DLC.
