It arrived a little later than on other platforms, but the Crunchyroll app has finally arrived on a Nintendo system. As of yesterday, you can get the app on Wii U, granting you access to tons of streaming anime and other Asian television content.
Though there exists a free, ad-supported version of the Crunchyroll service on PCs, this app requires a premium subscription to use. For $12 a month or $60 a year, you'll get an ad-free service that offers simulcast anime — shows become available one hour after they air in Japan.
If you are on the fence, you can check out the app for free for 14 days. Give it a spin!
