Square Enix is ready to double down hard on PlayStation 4, and it'll do so by launching what appears to be a completely original game. It's called "Project CODE Z," which is obviously not the final title, and it will be formally revealed during the Tokaigi 2015 event on streaming site Niconico on January 31.
Back in September, we learned that Square Enix was opening a brand-new RPG studio. Later in November, president Yosuke Matsuda told Famitsu magazine that the company was working on a console game that was not a remake. All signs point to "Project CODE Z" being that game and this new RPG studio being the one behind the wheel.
I guess we'll learn more once the end of the month rolls around.
