Deathwatch: Tyranid Invasion Comes From the Makers of Warhammer Quest

March 18, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Warhammer Quest’s developers are working on a new turn-based strategy game set in the Warhammer 40,000 setting.

Rodeo Games, the makers of Warhammer Quest, have announced a totally new game titled Deathwatch: Tyranid Invasion. Built in Unreal Engine 4, the game is set to hit mobile devices this summer.

Deathwatch is set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, in case the name didn't tip you off.  Developed as a turn-based strategy game, players will command a squad of Space Marines through 40 campaign missions against the xeno faction upon which Starcraft's Zerg were based, the Tyranids.

There's also a multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign that sees players customizing their squad with hundreds of skills and abilities and additional gear.

Check out the teaser trailer below for further insights.

Despite the fact that it's only been confirmed for mobile devices like the iPad, there's a pretty good chance it'll land on the PC like the previous game from the developer, Warhammer Quest, did.
