Halo 5: Guardians Will Change Everything, Brings Heavy Drama to Franchise

March 31, 2015 by Jacob Saylor

A new Halo emerges.

Halo 5: Guardians is poised to be one of the most important game releases for Microsoft's Xbox One. The company hasn't seen a ton of flagship games arrive on its new console, which only boosts expectations for the game. Halo 5 is still scheduled for a 2015 release, but given that we're about to head into April, we're not sure 343 Industries will be able to meet that development deadline. It's very likely Halo 5 gets pushed back into early 2016 at this point.

This may be for the best, though! A new video published by Youtuber HaloFollower discusses recent revelations that claim Halo 5 will change the series' identity completely. Apparently, the game will deliver massive "scope, scale and drama." Considering that there are rumors floating around cyberspace that suggest Master Chief – the franchise's primary protagonist – could be a bad guy. We're certainly hoping that this isn't the case. Master Chief has saved planets froma annihilation!

At any rate, check out HaloFollower and his theories down below. Let us know what you think in the comments!
