Payday 2: Overkill Teams Up With Alesso for New DLC

April 7, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Overkill has teamed up with international music producer Alesso for this new DLC.

Overkill Software and Starbreeze have announced a collaboration with DJ and music producer Alesso for a new Payday 2 DLC. It's titled Alesso Heist, and includes a music track from the DJ's upcoming album, Forever.

What's really interesting about this DLC is that it's been designed together with Alesso and is set during one of his concerts–an all new setting for the game, which typically features banks and jewelry stores.

A new song written by Alesso, titled "PAYDAY", is featured in the heist and plays during the mission. Alesso himself will be making an appearance within the game as a character.

In addition to the new mission, players will be treated to a new ranged weapon, four new masks–all of which were designed by Alesso, four new melee weapons, and four new achievements.

The DLC has not yet been dated, but further information will be released next month. It's set to cost $6.99 on the PC.

Check out the video below for the full track.
