Resident Evil Revelations 2 came out back in March to mostly average reviews. It's the latest in the Resident Evil franchise, and was first published as an episodic series. With the huge lack of horror games currently swimming around the games industry, it was a pleasant change of pace for many.
Now that we're back to the usual first-person shooter dominated market, many have begun to forget the amazing titles that came out at the beginning of the year. However, Resident Evil Revelations 2 never got multiplayer added to its pantheon of game modes. All of that changed this morning, as a new update was published for the game which allows gamers access to multiplayer features.
As a sort of apology, gamers who are registered with ResidentEvil.net will get 20,000 RE points to unlock features on the website or access items in Revelation 2's Raid Mode. There are also four new costumes that come packaged with this update, so you'll be able to enjoy brand new content right off the bat.
