Ubisoft announced Thursday that the closed beta for Might & Magic Heroes 7 will begin on May 25, 2015 at 9 a.m. PDT and conclude on June 8, 2015 at 9 a.m. PDT.
The beta is available to all who have pre-ordered the next entry in the Might & Magic franchise. Players will be able to play at their own leisure against computer-controlled opponents or other players in the beta under the Haven and Academy factions across two skirmish maps. The beta supports up to four players simultaneously in either team-based or free-for-all competition.
In April, Ubisoft announced, in addition to a Standard Edition, a Deluxe Edition and Collector’s Edition will be available at launch. The Deluxe Edition includes the game plus:
- The official soundtrack in digital format
- Might & Magic Heroes III HD Edition
- Additional in-game content including a new Hero and extra scenario-map
While the Collector’s Edition is only available through the Ubisoft uPlay Shop and includes the game plus:
- A Collector’s Edition box
- A 26-cm Yvan figurine displaying Yvan proudly posing after a brilliant victory on the battlefield
- An Artbook
- The official soundtrack in digital format
- Two lithographies
- A full-customized tarot game
- Additional in-game content including a new Hero and an extra scenario-map
Might & Magic Heroes 7, announced in August 2014 at Gamescom, releases in September 2015, and is being developed by Limbic Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.
