Indie Action RPG Kyn Launches July 28 on PC, Mac, Linux

Two-person Dutch developer Tangrin and indie game publisher Versus Evil announced today that action RPG Kyn will be released on July 28 for Windows PC, Mac, and Linux.

The standard edition will retail for $19.99, while a deluxe edition, packed with the game’s official soundtrack by Will Bedford, will retail for $24.99. Those who pre-order Kyn will receive exclusive access to the in-game “Legendary Fire Master Set,” a full body armor set that can be equipped on a character whose “body stat” has reached 20. In addition to the armor set, those who pre-order will also receive the “Eye of the Fire Axe,” a weapon that “deals extra damage and increases attack speed” when wielded by characters with a body stat of 45.

Kyn’s official description reads:

“In Kyn, players will control up to six warriors on an epic action RPG adventure as they explore and unravel the mysteries of a fantasy world inspired by Viking myth and legend. Over the course of the game, players will customize their party, craft new items and develop new combat strategies based on their own play style and their party’s strengths.”

Kyn can be pre-ordered via Steam, GOG, Gamers Gate, Direct to Drive, Green Man Gaming, and Uplay.
