Final Fantasy Type-0 Coming to the Playstation Store

September 12, 2011

Final Fantasy Type-0 digital release confirmed, available for download on the same day as its retail release.

Square Enix has announced that the upcoming PSP title "Final Fantasy Type-0" will be available for download on the Japanese Playstation Store the very same day as its retail release, October 27, 2011. The digital version will be available for  ¥6,480, compared to ¥7,700 for the retail version which comes on two UMDs.

A western release is yet to be announced, but Director Hajime Tabata is said to be trying to appeal the game to North American players so keep your fingers crossed. The only downside of the digital version is that you won't be able get your hands on the beautiful limited edition revealed last week via Andriasang.

The limited edition which costs ¥12,760 includes a 24 card post card book with an eight page character introduction, the first print version of the game's three disc soundtrack CD, and a special box.
