Some videos of the current Hitman game in development have leaked, and fans seem happy with what they have seen.
As fans point out, IO Interactive seem to have played it safe and not made too many changes with the gameplay. Instead, they have decided to reuse the gameplay systems from Hitman Absolution.
This alpha footage comes from one particular mission. While the graphics could still use optimization, much of the mission has been fleshed out, including the scenario.
Your destination is the Sanguine Fashion show. Your targets are the heads of Iago, Dahlia Margolis and her partner, Viktor Novikov. The two are fashion icons in public, but are secretly the ringleaders of Iago.
Iago recently acquired some information regarding Mi6 agents, and they are selling this information to the highest bidder during the fashion show. Between the two, Dahlia is the one who really calls the shots, but either way, this will be a difficult mission.
Perhaps of interest to fans is that the demo includes the familiar, soothing voice of Diane Burnwood, guiding Agent 47 throughout the way.

Based on the events of Hitman Absolution, Agent 47 was tasked to kill Diane after she ran off with a teenage assassin clone. Instead, he helped dissolve the cloning project from within the agency, saving and protecting Diane in the process. It’s not clear if the two still work for the agency, or if they’re working freelance contracts to take down Iago.
