Monster Hunter X 1st Commercial Revealed, Website Updated

July 31, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

The website features the game’s 14 weapons, exactly the same ones found in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

The Monster Hunter X website updated with a new batch of details that confirms some of what we know about the mechanics.

We get to see some of each of the game’s four styles, some shots of the new monsters Gamoth and Hororo-Hururu, and pictures of the fourteen weapons.

The weapons are exactly the same as those from Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, which we’ll enumerate below:

·         Sword & Shield

·         Dual Blades

·         Great Sword

·         Long Sword

·         Hammer

·         Hunting Horn

·         Lance

·         Gunlance

·         Switch Axe

·         Insect Glaive

·         Charge Blade

·         Light Bowgun

·         Heavy Bowgun

·         Bow

Capcom promises to update the website with videos of each weapon in the coming days. It should be interesting to see, for example, how the counter based fighting style will work, say, using a light or heavy bowgun.

Outside the site, Capcom shared the game’s first commercial, as well as a promotion video featuring the commercial’s artist, Daigo, as well as the Monster Hunter Tokuban 2015 Summer livestream. Capcom will be livestreaming the game again in the very near future, in an upcoming episode of Capcom TV.

What do you hope Capcom will share next about Monster Hunter X? Share your thoughts with us in the comments. We have shared the commercial above, and you can check out more screenshots and videos from our source.
