The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s latest patch, patch 1.10, has been available for less than 24 hours, yet people have already begun reporting new bugs in the game since downloading the patch.
In a post on Reddit, users have been reporting issues with The Witcher 3 since downloading patch 1.10. The problems experienced by players range from missing armor sets and weapons to specific quests that can’t be completed. One user posted that their completed quests are being marked as failed. Another user reported that upon loading their save file all of their items were gone and the [player] character naked was without any armor or clothing.
Other users noticed problems with specific quests like the quest “Scavenger Hunt Wolf School Gear Upgrade Diagrams – Part 1.”
“Chests are there, Wolf markings are on the walls but can't open them. Maybe it's happening with another set quests. Also the objectives duplicate in the quest log, simply 1 says complete the other is not.”
“In DLC quest ‘Where the Cat and the Wolf Play,’ the girl's footprints end where they begin, even after you pick the doll. The prints are missing therefore I can't continue the quest because the girl does not ‘spawn.’”
The thread on Reddit contains more bugs and issues being discovered by players, as well as a comment from a CD Projekt Red developer:
Some of you have reported items and schematics disappearing after 1.10. The issue will apply to DLC items in New Game +. We are working on a fix and will roll it out as soon as possible. In the meantime please hold on to your saves from before the patch.
