Chinese media and investment company Tencent Holdings has purchased Riot Games' remaining equity.
The company initially acquired a majority stake in the League of Legends maker in 2011 and now completely owns the MOBA developer.
Riot Games announced a change in its equity program in a meeting with staff on December 15th.
Tencent also has a minority steak in Epic Games and was involved in the buyout of Activision from Vivendi. It also recently acquired Robot Entertainment, developer of Orcs Must Die Unchained.
Tencent's expansion in recent years has focused on bridging the gap between Western developers and China.
