King's Field, Demon's Souls and Dark Souls aren't the only games From Software develops. They also happen to be working on Armored Core V. The studio announced bonuses for preorders of the title today on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, which include extra missions and weapons.

The game's extra missions will be fully playable in co-op, with up to four participating players. According to the developer, which is known for its challenging games, the missions offered will be especially difficult, with special rewards proportionate to the challenge. One of the large mechs that's slated to appear in the mission is the "TypeD No. 5" (pictured below).

According to the developers, Armored Core V will see the introduction of multi-leveled maps with high rise buildings. Players will participate in three-dimensional battles by flying through the air.

Armored Core is scheduled for a January 26, 2012 release in Japan on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
