China is a wonderful land of often hilarious, low quality rip-offs - It even has it’s own rip-off themepark. So are we really surprised someone in China has already ripped off the Vita?

China is a wonderful land of often hilarious, low quality rip-offs - It even has its own rip-off themepark. So are we really surprised someone in China has already ripped off the Vita?

No, seriously, they’ve already done it. And it runs Android.

The Yinlips YDPG18 has a gravity sensor, large LCD screen, front and back cameras, 1080p support and a front touch screen. The select and start buttons are where the Vita’s right thumbstick would be placed, and there’s no back touchpad.

The little differences like these, however, probably aren’t enough to stop confused grandparents around the globe from buying these for the grand kids this Christmas. It’s as if a thousand kids were excited about a Vita-shaped console, and then were disappointed all at once.

You can check out a gallery of the YDPG18 here. It’s a little disappointing that this one doesn’t have a hilarious rip-off name, like Sorny or something.

Still better than the rip-off eggs, though.
