Lego Lord of the Rings may be in the Works

With the announcement that Warner Brothers and the Lego Group have come to a deal over Middle Earth properties, could a video game outing be on the way?

During summer 2012 Lego are releasing a set of Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit sets to tease the release of the first of the new films. Warner Brothers have licenced the property to the Lego Company and, with it, there comes a slight chance that Lego Lord of the Rings the Game will come out to tie in with the films.

And given that this story is all over the gaming internet and the reaction has been positive (despite the game not officially existing), Warner Brothers would wise to pay attention to interest – if only because I REALLY want to play Lego Lord of the Rings.

I should repeat that at this point this is nothing but an announcement of physical toys, but don't be surprised if more comes of it.
