Welcome to Hampture - Bioshock's Rapture for Hampsters

I bet you’ve at one point said to yourself ‘wow, Bioshock is so cool! I love Rapture! I wish I could create a smaller version of Rapture that my pet hamsters could live in.’ ...No? Oh, well, this one guy did.

I really love when people not only make really neat things, but also detail the process they’ve used. This guy is in the process of making his own Hampture - a Rapture for hamsters. And yes, it’s underwater.

Anonbutt’s blog features pictures, videos and designs of this project - and it is no minor task. This is something that they’ve been working on since 2010, and it takes a lot of calculations, engineering know how and patience. Don’t worry about the hamsters, however, as every precaution has been taken to make sure the little guys of Hampture are safe and sound. They even have a heating system.

I actually really want one of these. Too bad hamsters are illegal in Australia - maybe I can make one for my cat.
