World of Warcraft Monopoly and Starcraft RISK are actual things

February 11, 2012 by Mat Growcott

Tired of those pesky interactive video games and want to go back to a simpler time? Blizzard know just what to do…

Starcraft and World of Warcraft are getting new installments this year, and hopefully you like retro gaming because these are being seriously demade. Blizzard today announced a partnership with USAopoly, who is planning to bring both World of Warcraft Monopoly and Starcraft RISK to the market.

Blizzard are attending the 2012 Toy Fair New York tomorrow to offer up more details on the game and are offering fans of the series the chance to vote on playing pieces for Monopoly via their website.

If these end up anything like the Metal Gear version of RISK, it'll probably end up ridiculously expensive (at least in the UK, where you can easily pay upwards of £100 for a copy). If you plan to buy it, especially if you plan to import it, do it as quickly as possible.

Blizzard have promised there'll be pictures and video from the debut in New York tomorrow.
