Epic Mickey 2 was just announced recently and has also had a lot of press as of late. It’s sort of surprising though that the game has a European release date. It’s not the fact that the release date has been outed so soon, but the fact that it’s only for Europe. According to Nintendo Master, Epic Mickey 2 will release in Europe on September 26th, apparently this year. Warren Spector even confirmed this release date during a press conference at the Walt Disney France HQ.
However, Nintendo Universe thinks that it’s odd that the game would be released on a Wednesday. Since apparently games are usually released on Fridays. Disney Interactive Studios has apparently not confirmed this release date yet, as mentioned by Nintendo Uni, but it’s already been confirmed by two sources. One of those sources being the actual person working on the game. I’d call this confirmed but who knows, it is odd that they only have a European release date confirmed.
