Black Ops Coming to Mac

June 28, 2012 by Jen Shaffer

See? You can play games on Macs.

Aspyr Media is heading up the development of the port, as they have done in the past with titles like Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Knights of the Old Republic, Rage, Quake, and Doom 3 to name a handful. Touting the tagline of "Greatest Mac publisher on Earth, ever" Aspyr has been alleviating the relentless teasing most Mac owners face on a daily basis from other gamers.

Cross platform development is a good thing, but more than likely any Mac owner that wanted to play Black Ops would have found a way by this point. The Black Ops Mac release, coming later this fall, has become more a matter of convenience and principle than anything else. Currently, no system specs have been released.

In honor of Black Ops descending upon Apple like so many soldiers on Dragovich, Aspyr is selling all of their Call of Duty titles at a 50% discount.
