The History of Art According To Star Wars

Photographer David Eger recreates famous images using Star Wars figurines.

Photographer David Eger has what you might call an affinity for Clone Trooper figurines. His “Cloned Photos” project—a kind of spin-off to his previous photo series, “365 Days of Clones,”—makes use of the little plastic figures, as well as other Star Wars memorabilia, to recreate famous photographs, posters and other historically iconic images.

His series, viewable on Flickr, depicts scenes as varied as the album cover for Abbey Road, to The Vitruvian Man, to a recreation of the Tiananmen Square Protest Photo (seen above.) Seriously, take a look: Eger has taken tons of these awesome photos.
