Clint Hocking Makes It Fairly Clear He Has Joined Valve

July 12, 2012 by Lana Polansky

Clever tweet strongly suggests as much.

Back in late June on his blog Click Nothing, Splinter Cell creator Clint Hocking announced that he had left LucasArts after two years with the company and was "moving onto something new."

"I already have something lined up and I am currently in the process of dealing with the living hell of relocation," Hocking wrote.

About an hour ago, Hocking tweeted a picture (seen above) of his son at the Valve studio. While coyly saying nothing else other than, "Arrival," in the tweet, the message suggests that this is the something Hocking had lined up.

Hocking was the creative director on Far Cry 2 and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory as well as an accomplished videogame critic.

There are no details yet as to exactly what position Hocking will be filling, but we wish him congratulations and the best of luck.
