Portal 2 Stephen Merchant as Wheatley Gameplay Trailer
Valve has released a new lengthy gameplay footage for Portal 2 featuring the voice of talented Office co-writer and podcast legend Stephen Merchant. Many were expecting his voice and comedic timing to perfectly fit the Wheatley character in Portal 2, and after watching the trailer we can safely assume that he'll be giving Glados some serious competition.
Portal 2 picks up hundreds of years after the events of the first Portal. Once again, players will fill the nonexistent shoes of Chell, who has been kept in stasis since the end of the original game, having recently been "re-acquired" by an unknown party. Portal 2 will feature a brand new single player story along with the new addition of co-op multiplayer.

Just pointing out, this article takes the liberty of saying "Portal 2 picks up hundreds of years after Portal 1"... But this is actually not substantiated by any official word. All that's been said is, (quote from e3) "Some huge amount of time has passed". Could be 20 years, could be 50, could be hundreds. But this article needlessly speculates.
