Defense Grid 2 Developers Hidden Path to Host Live Chat

Hidden Path Entertainment, developer of futuristic tower defense title Defense Grid, will be hosting a live video chat tomorrow at 5 p.m. (PDT) on Spreecast.

The chat will comprise members of the development team (including company CEO Jeff Pobst), who will be answering question regarding their Kickstarter campaign for Defense Grid 2 as well as the development process and new features in the upcoming sequel. The new game is promised to contain 20 original, brand-new missions with a new narrative, towers, enemies, game modes, level types and improved graphics.

Spreecast, which is still in beta, will allow viewers to ask questions via a chat system or log on with their webcams to speak directly and face-to-face with the development team.

Hidden Path released its Kickstarter on July 10^th, and has since raised over $170,000 of their $250,000 goal. Once reached, they promise to release Defense Grid: Containment, the eighth level expansion of the original Defense Grid which contains a heretofore-unseen short story taking place directly after the events in the first game.
