October 6, 2010 by Gameranx Staff

Borderlands developer gearbox is trying to capitalize on its recent rescue of Duke Nukem Forever

Gearbox has announced that those of you who decide to buy Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition will receive access to the beta version of Duke Nukem Forever during its development phase.

The retail package of Borderlands: GOTY edition will grant membership to the “Duke Nukem First Access Club” which might also include extra in-game content, apart from beta access.

Borderlands Game of the Year Edition is set to release October 12, 2010 and includes download codes for the add-on packs – Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, and The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. It also includes a complete and comprehensive map of the Borderlands territories.
