The previous Call of Juarez game was far from excellent. It wasn't an entirely bad game, but it wasn't a superb one, either. Veering away from its Wild West roots, the title took to modern day Juarez to tell a story about drug dealers and narcs—losing much of its charm in the process.
Not having given up on the series, Techland has published a new teaser image for what appears to be an upcoming game in the Call of Juarez series which brings the setting back to the Wild West, where it belongs.
The newly released image shows a man in a cowboy hat and a Mexican poncho with a gold coin in his hand, seated with a bottle and a glass of whiskey at a saloon. He appears contemplating—perhaps of 09.06.12 date—that's tomorrow—hovering at the top left of the image. Little else is revealed.
