Mass Effect Trilogy DLC Content Will Vary Depending on Platform, Still Undated for PS3

October 2, 2012 by Alex Co

The Mass Effect Trilogy will include DLC…but not everything released so far. Know what will be included in which platform.

BioWare has announced just last week that Mass Effect franchise will get the bundle treatment with Mass Effect Trilogy. While I assumed it will contain every DLC released so far, that doesn't seem to be the case.

In a post on the game's official site, BioWare has detailed what DLC will be included in the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the collection.

  • On PC, Mass Effect will include Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station on disk. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included which features Zaeed – The Price of Revenge, The Firewalker Pack, Cerberus Assault Gear, Arc Projector heavy weapon, and Normandy Crash site mission. For Mass Effect 3, Online Pass will be included granting players access to co-op multiplayer.

  • On Xbox 360, Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station are not included with Mass Effect, however they are available as stand-alone downloads through Xbox LIVE. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included and Online Pass will be included for Mass Effect 3.

You might have noticed that there's only two versions listed and that's because the PS3 version still does not have a definite release date.

For the sake of PS3 players, let's hope this means their version gets the most out of this DLC cherry-picking. Although the fact that Mass Effect 1 will finally be playable on a Sony console might be enough for PS3 users to plunk down their cash regardless of the DLC inlcuded, no?

The Mass Effect Trilogy will be out on November 6 for the PC and Xbox 360.

Any PS3 players getting this for ME1?
