GTA 5 "Most Important Franchise" to Take-Two
Speaking at an investor call, Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick boasted that the company has "never been in better shape" and referring to the likes of Grand Theft Auto V, that it "never had more important franchises."

Capcom's Channel on YouTube has released 15 minutes of gameplay for its upcoming Street Fighter X Tekken and I must say, it looks pretty damn good.
Sony platforms will feature exclusive characters, such as Cole MacGrath from Infamous, Sony mascots Toro and his rival Kuro (who disguise themselves as Ryu and Kazuya respectively), Pac-Man (who pilots a mech); and Mega Man, who takes the appearance of his character on the US box art for the first game.

Blizzard Invites 100,000 New Participants Into Diablo 3 Beta
Blizzard has just announced via its Diablo 3 blog that it has invited 100,000 new participants to experience the beta. Participants were chosen from those who selected to opt-in through their Battle.net accounts.
Blizzard warns that sending out such a large invite may spur phishing attempts from unscrupulous individuals attempting to steal accounts, so they ask gamers to be wary should they receive an invite. THQ has 6 Unannounced Games, 2013-2014 Release Schedule
Speaking at an investor call, THQ chief Brian Farrell said that the company has at least half a dozen games planned for release in 2013 and 2014.

KISS Looking into Video Game Spin-offs (as well as KISS Angry Birds)
KISS have struck a deal with Angry Birds developer Rovio to develop a spin-off involving the band, lead singer Simmons confirmed while being interviewed by industrygamers. KISS, who aren't exactly strangers to merchandising, are also in talks with Sony over the development of a game based around the band, although things are in the very early stages at this point.

One of the most influential games of the late eighties, early nineties may be getting a revival, at least if a leaked listing on an internal EA wiki is anything to go by. Scribblenauts was quite popular on the DS, impressing the public and press alike with its unique brand of God-based puzzle solving (because he was the answer to almost all the puzzles).
